Does your club need new equipment?
Does your club need some cash to purchase core equipment?
Bowls Victoria’s partner VicHealth has opened up a new round of its 2015-16 Active Club Grants program.
Clubs can apply for two grant types – one of up to $3,000, or a larger grant of up to $10,000.
These grants offer funding to community sport and recreation clubs to increase or maintain participation through their club via the purchase of core equipment.
This round VicHealth are placing a particular focus on supporting sporting clubs and organisations that can attract more people to their club, or improve participation opportunities for Victoria’s Aboriginal community.
In awarding these grants, special consideration will also be given to applications from clubs in areas of socio-economic disadvantage as well as clubs and organisations who can demonstrate that an Active Club Grant will increase opportunities for regular physical activity in their community.
Applications are now open, and close on Friday, March 4, 2016.
Thirty-one Bowls Victoria clubs received funding in the previous round of Active Club Grants. Here’s your club’s chance.
