Tradition continues at Port Fairy over Easter
It’s one of the oldest bowls carnivals in Victoria, and one of the West Coast region’s most enduring events.
The 91st Easter Bowls Carnival at Port Fairy in 2016 features $4,000 in prizemoney, with men’s fours, men’s pairs, mixed fours and mixed 2-bowl triples on the agenda.
Each of the four Easter weekend days features a different event, starting on Good Friday, March 25, with the men’s fours.
It attracts bowlers from all over Victoria and other states, not just the state’s west – many of whom have been coming to the event for more than 30 years.
Entries close March 20, or once fields are full.
