Bowl all day, bowl all night
When one of Heathcote Bowling Club’s members was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, the club swung straight into action.
They put together an interesting fund-raising initiative – a 24-Hour Bowls Marathon to be held over Australia Day.
Starting at 3pm on Monday, January 25 and finishing at 3pm on Tuesday, January 26, teams and individuals are welcome to enter.
All players need to provide $1 sponsorship per end played, which will be used to raise money to fight MND.
