Ekera Dental Over 60 State Pairs finals
Glen Waverley’s Patty Whorlow and Audrey Hele, and City Memorial Warrnambool’s David Wells and Brian Scott are the 2015 Ekera Dental Over 60s State Pairs champions.
Skip Whorlow and Hele, representing Eastern Ranges region, won the women’s pairs final, and Wells (skip) and Scott from West Coast region took out the men’s played at Bairnsdale Bowls Club.
The Glen Waverley duo beat Yarrawonga’s Anne Miles and Joy Johnson 22-13.
Wells and Scott won a nail-biter 12-11 over Torquay’s Alan Sampson and Daryl Kitchin.
