First Bowlers Arm tournament run and won
The first Bowlers Arm club tournament for 2015-16 has been run and won, with Finley RS Bowls Club local Gail Welsh and Numurkah’s Allan Clark teaming up to win.
The Finley RS Bowlers Arm Tussle at the NSW/Victoria border club was a pairs tournament, with Clark and Welsh narrow winners over Shepparton Park duo Dennis Smyth and Peter Brodie.
It is the first of a big schedule of Bowlers Arm tournaments for Bowls Victoria clubs during the season.
